This commercial kitchen upgrade for a popular Lewisham restaurant addressed health and safety requirements while improving operational efficiency. The existing extraction system was inadequate for the expanded menu, and the kitchen layout had become inefficient as the business grew. Our specialist commercial team designed and installed a new extraction canopy with appropriate fan capacity and grease filtration, ensuring compliance with environmental health requirements. We remodelled the kitchen layout to improve workflow, relocating gas points and plumbing connections for new equipment positions. All surfaces were re-tiled with commercial-grade hygienic wall tiles, the flooring replaced with anti-slip safety flooring, and all electrical circuits upgraded to handle new equipment loads. The project was completed during a planned two-week closure, with the restaurant reopening to full service on schedule.
